In an attempt to lead the puppy love parade, I looked to artists like Angel Olsen in her initial writing process for this track. When we fleshed out the instrumentals, "Daydreams" started to take a more dreamy surf-pop feel. The main hope for this song was to capture honesty and vulnerability.
